Climate data available for download

Published: Jul 16 2008

SNAP climate data in ASCII format are now available for download from this site! Temperature and precipitation data (representing the A1B mid-range climate scenario as defined by the International Panel on Climate Change) are available for each of the five Global Circulation Models that SNAP uses for climate projections. In addition, historical down-scaled climate data are available at the same 2km grid resolution. Due to this very fine resolution, file sizes are large. We hope to offer smaller files and more localized data soon.
