Ongoing Project: Landscape Connectivity

SNAP is facilitating a state-wide strategic habitat conservation assessment with the goals of (1) Identifying lands and waters in Alaska that likely serve as landscape-level migration corridors currently and in the future given climate change; and (2) Identifying conservation strategies with our partners that would help maintain landscape-level connectivity by focusing conservation efforts, minimizing redundant research and monitoring efforts, and by sharing data and information for these areas.
