North Slope Climate Analysis

submitted May 5, 2008 (updated May 30, 2008)

SNAP has provided The Nature Conservancy (TNC) with monthly and sub-monthly climate projections derived from downscaled IPCC models, and will continue to provide derived data based on these projections.

TNC, in partnership with the Alaska Department of Fish & Game, the Bureau of Land Management and the Government of Northwest Territories, is working closely with the Alaska North Slope Borough (NSB) and local North Slope communities in analyzing this data.

TNC will provide the NSB and local communities with project products.
