Senior Spatial Analyst
Michael Lindgren is a spatial analyst at SNAP, working on data downscaling of IPCC General Circulation Models (GCMs) and analysis of geospatial data for Alaska and the Arctic.
He specializes in geographic information technologies, remote sensing, and data mining. He holds a BA (2004) in Psychology with a minor in Geography from Keene State College in Keene, NH, and an MA (2009) in Geographic Information Science for Development and Environment from Clark University in Worcester, MA. His research interests include exploiting remotely sensed imagery, and other geospatial data sources to improve environmental understanding, and management in a changing climate.
