Alec Bennett is a model developer and SNAP's Lead Programmer. He came to SNAP as a web developer and is now working on ALFRESCO code development and related projects. He is a member of SNAP's IT team, and helps to support a variety of projects SNAP works on. He also helps to plan for future software development and tools at SNAP.
Alec holds a BS (2005) in Information Systems / Programming, and has a great interest in technology and programming in general. Prior to coming to SNAP, Alec worked at the UAF Arctic Region Supercomputing Center as a Consultant helping to test, deploy, and support a variety of High Performance Computing (HPC) systems.
