Julien first worked for SNAP as an intern while completing his MSc in ecology and remote sensing. Having returned to SNAP in 2015 as a spatial analyst, Julien specializes in the use of geographic information technologies and remote sensing in environmental studies. He holds two Bachelor’s degrees in Geography and in Biology, as well as a Master degree in ecology and remote sensing from the university of Toulouse, France.
Outside of work, Julien enjoys photography and takes time off every year to be photographer for the Yukon Quest International Sled Dog Race. He also enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, climbing, skiing, and exploring Alaska.
