Rayjan Wilson is a Systems Engineer at SNAP. He uses unmanned systems (drones) as remote sensing platforms for collecting scientific data and for performing critical infrastructure inspection. Additionally, he produces high resolution 3D models and maps to aid research and decision making efforts.
He earned a BS in Aerospace Engineering from Purdue University (2002) specializing in unmanned air system design, and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati (2007) specializing in Artificial Intelligent Control Systems. His research interests include fieldwork with the drones as well as processing and distributing post-flight data.
